Watch marbles fly across the galaxy with the Techno Gears Marble Mania Galaxy play set. Featuring a colorful, space-themed track decorated with planets and a big spaceship, this marble set offers hours of fun while simultaneously helping kids learn basic mechanics, large motor skills, and problem solving. Recommended for children ages eight and older, Marble Mania Galaxy combines the wonder of our solar system with the entertaining physics of marble tracks.
Propelled by a built-in motor, marbles shoot up the Marble Mania transparent tube to start their journey across the galaxy. Futuristic sounds play as the marbles make their way from the moon, to Earth, to Jupiter, and beyond, accompanied by exciting flashing lights. Each section of the glow-in-the-dark track offers a new path, including a swirling spiral, zigzags, jumps, and a ride up the corkscrew inside a giant spaceship.
Designed with each of the solar system's planets along its track, the Marble Mania Galaxy is a great opportunity to learn planet names as the marbles roll past. The marbles and track are also a good way for kids to learn basic mechanics as well as develop their problem solving and motor skills.
The interlocking tracks and pieces of the Marble Mania Galaxy set are compatible with other Techno Gears sets, so you can expand and customize your set.
Our testers found the Marble Mania Galaxy set to be an impressive structure and enjoyed watching the marbles zoom around the track. The glow-in-the-dark marbles and pieces were especially fun and were a good complement to the space theme. Due to the size and complexity of the set, we highly recommend an adult help with the construction of the set, which can be several hours of work. The color instruction manual provides helpful diagrams to aid the construction process.
